The Story
I was introduced to Creedence Clearwater Revival as a teenager. Chronicle: Volume 1 was a CD that I wore out over the span of two summers. John Fogerty’s classic tunes are perfect for guitarists. These backing tracks represent my inspiration from the original arrangements.
This version of “Green River” features the swampy drums and bass grooving in the back. Two rhythm guitars are accenting the arrangement. The rhythm guitar panned right also adds the intro lick and guitar fills. An acoustic guitar also rounds out the rhythm section.
