The Story

I was introduced to Creedence Clearwater Revival as a teenager. Chronicle: Volume 1 was a CD that I wore out over the span of two summers. John Fogerty’s classic tunes are perfect for guitarists. These backing tracks represent my inspiration from the original arrangements.

This version of “Bad Moon Rising” has a great country-inspired feel, especially with the drums and bass. There are three separate rhythm guitar tracks. Two of the rhythm guitars are tuned down a whole step. One of these features the fills that would sit behind the vocals.

 Enjoy!

I consider a jam track to be just that, a track to jam over. They are usually extended in length with original arrangements. I produce them to practice technique, chops, or improvisation. I consider backing tracks to be covers of fully arranged songs to which you can add the lead parts, either vocal or instrumental. This is a backing track.
