The Story

You like early Beatles tunes? So do I…

This is an individual track from the ’64 & Before: Volume 1 backing track album.

About ’64 & Before: Volume 1

When I started this project, I intended to record a collection of some of my favorite songs by The Beatles as stellar backing tracks to play along with. So, I got to work – one song at a time. As it progressed, I realized that one album would not be enough. So this is ’64 & Before: Vol. 1

This curated collection of backing tracks features eleven songs by John, Paul, George and Ringo. They are singles from 1962-1963 and selected album tracks from “Please Please Me” & “With the Beatles”

The tracks stay true to the feel and inspiration of the originals while adding new flavor to the instrumentation. The whole rhythm section is ready to back you up as you add your own lead guitar, vocals, or other instrument of choice!

I consider a jam track to be just that, a track to jam over. They are usually extended in length with original arrangements. I produce them to practice technique, chops, or improvisation. I consider backing tracks to be covers of fully arranged songs to which you can add the lead parts, either vocal or instrumental. This is a backing track.
