The Story

“Slow Dancing” has one of my favorite outro solos from the “Live in LA” record. And, maybe that intro riff is considered ”forbidden” but… it’s extra tasty. Wanting a means to practice the guitar parts and play the song in a solo act, I set out to recreate a high quality backing track in step with the version that I love so much. This track follows that night’s arrangement. Enjoy!

I consider a jam track to be just that, a track to jam over. They are usually extended in length with original arrangements. I produce them to practice technique, chops, or improvisation. I consider backing tracks to be covers of fully arranged songs to which you can add the lead parts, either vocal or instrumental. This is a backing track.
